Ball Ground In-Law Suite
Accessory Dwelling Unit
This 1,100+ square foot accessory dwelling unit in Ball Ground, Georgia was designed as a self-contained in-law suite, providing comfortable, independent living while maintaining a cohesive relationship with the primary residence.
The ADU features a thoughtfully planned open floor plan that maximizes every square foot—incorporating a full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom within a compact yet spacious-feeling footprint. Vaulted ceilings and strategically placed windows amplify the sense of openness, drawing natural light deep into the interior.
Exterior materials were selected to complement the existing property, blending traditional siding with contemporary detailing to create a structure that feels intentional rather than ancillary. A covered entry and private outdoor space give the unit its own sense of place and arrival.
JTC Architecture approached this project with the understanding that accessory dwelling units must balance efficiency with dignity of living. The result is a home—not merely an addition—that offers privacy, comfort, and quality craftsmanship at a scale that enhances rather than overwhelms the property.
