Custom Pool House
Outdoor Living Pavilion
This custom pool house was designed as a seamless extension of the main residence — both architecturally and experientially. The goal was to create a refined outdoor living space that felt intentional and cohesive, rather than secondary to the primary home.
The architectural elements were carefully crafted to mirror the character of the main house. From the exposed timber truss and warm wood ceiling detail to the clean column lines and stone fireplace massing, every component was selected to blend naturally with the existing structure. The proportions, roof pitch, material palette, and trim details were all aligned to ensure the pool house feels like it has always been part of the property.
The covered pavilion anchors the outdoor environment with a full-height stone fireplace, integrated media wall, and comfortable lounge seating — creating a year-round gathering space. Large glass doors connect the interior to the pool deck, allowing the design to flow effortlessly between indoor and outdoor living.
Projects like this are always especially fun — designing a space dedicated to relaxation, entertainment, and family time allows creativity to shine while still honoring architectural discipline. This pool house is a great example of how thoughtful detailing and material continuity can elevate a backyard into a fully integrated extension of the home.
