Nestled in the north Georgia foothills, this custom single-family residence in Jasper blends modern sensibilities with the timeless warmth of farmhouse vernacular. At approximately 2,000 square feet, the home was designed to maximize livability while maintaining an intimate, human scale.

The exterior features a carefully composed palette of board-and-batten siding, standing-seam metal roof accents, and natural stone elements that root the structure in its pastoral setting. Generous overhangs and deep covered porches extend the living space outward, creating seamless transitions between interior comfort and the surrounding landscape.

Inside, the open-concept floor plan centers on a light-filled great room anchored by a statement fireplace. Clean lines and restrained material choices—white oak flooring, matte black hardware, and soft neutral finishes—give the interiors a contemporary feel without sacrificing the approachability that defines modern farmhouse design.

JTC Architecture's approach to this project balanced the clients' desire for a home that feels both current and enduring. Every detail, from the proportions of the gable forms to the placement of windows for optimal natural light, was considered to create a residence that is as thoughtful as it is inviting.
